Lowering College Costs
Discover some advanced strategies for lowering the out-of-pocket cost of going to college, even if you have not saved for your student’s education. We will cover: financial aid, scholarships, the FAFSA form, taxes, high-income earner strategies, strategies for the business owner. These can help you plan and reduce your student’s college costs. Class is designed for all parents of students from eighth to 12th grade, high income families and business owners.

 “Turbulent Times”—Financial Strategies for Success
This course covers the basics of investing and focuses on the concept of using asset allocation to control risk. We will discuss financial risk and risk manage-ment. We will also cover the basics of stock, bonds, cash equivalents, mutual funds, and retirement plans.

Tax Advantaged Investing
Covering the basics of tax-favored investing, we will include the various retirement vehicles commonly available such as Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). We will discuss the benefits of investing in an employer retirement plan, tax free (municipal) bonds, tax favored mutual funds that utilize tax favored investments and annuities. We will end with utilizing these tools to achieve your goals and lower your taxes.
