Bring to class first night:
- Sponge (cellulose kitchen sponge)
- Two wide mouth water containers (hold 12 oz )
- Large board for mounting wet paper. At least 16 x 20 inches - Gatorboard works nicely. No cardboard or foamcore.
- Watercolor Paper: Arches 140# Cold Pressed
- Watercolor brushes - #8 round, #12 round, 3/4,” 1 1/2” or 2” flat. These brushes have a short handle and can be synthetic or natural bristle brushes. The rounds should come to a good point and spring back when pushed down.
- White plastic palette with lid. I use a Robert E. Woods palette. It is square with wells and large areas for mixing paint in the center about 10 x 13 in size.
- Tube watercolor paints (preferred : Winsor Newton M Graham & Co, Daniel Smith (order www.danielsmith.com.)
